My Cyberpunk 2077 Nomad V Build: What Do You Think?

Hey guys! I'm stoked to share my Cyberpunk 2077 Nomad V build! This was my very first character in the game, and I poured a lot of love into making her awesome. I'm curious to hear what you all think, so let's dive into the details. I didn't have the Gorillaz arms yet, but that's the only difference! Let's get into how I made my V and why I chose the path I did.

Nomad Life: The Foundation

Alright, so first off, why a Nomad? For me, the Nomad lifepath in Cyberpunk 2077 just resonated with me. The idea of being a free spirit, roaming the wastelands outside of Night City, and having a strong connection to family really spoke to me. Plus, I loved the aesthetic! The rugged vehicles, the close-knit communities, and the sense of survival and independence just felt incredibly cool. I wanted a character who wasn't tied down, someone who could adapt and overcome any challenge, and that's exactly what the Nomad lifepath offers. It's not just about the backstory, though. The Nomad path gives you unique dialogue options and mission opportunities that really flesh out your character and make the world feel alive. Right from the start, you get a sense of belonging with your Nomad family. You're introduced to the harsh realities of the badlands and the importance of loyalty. This setup really shapes your V's perspective and influences your choices throughout the game. I felt like the Nomad starting mission really set the tone for a tough but honorable character. I was invested right from the beginning, and I found it added a whole new layer of depth to the game. I believe playing a Nomad offers a truly unique experience that deepens immersion within the Cyberpunk universe. It is a great way to experience the world of Night City from a unique perspective. I definitely think it is a fantastic choice for your first playthrough.

Nomads are all about freedom and family, which is a cool concept to get into in a video game. The beginning of the game does a fantastic job of setting the stage for your character. You get to learn about who your character is and what they're all about right off the bat. It really makes you feel connected to your character from the jump. A nomad-style character in Cyberpunk 2077 is all about survival, which is exciting. Choosing a Nomad creates a great starting point for character creation, especially when you're trying it out for the first time. The Nomad path is very rewarding and you can learn all about the world of Cyberpunk 2077 in your own way. The unique dialogue options and mission opportunities that are available to the Nomad really enhance the world and make it feel more alive and makes you want to replay the game again. The Nomad lifepath gives you a connection to the badlands and shows you what it's like to be a part of a community. From the beginning, the Nomad lifepath establishes a tough yet honorable character with a sense of loyalty. It makes the player feel invested early on which increases the value of the game. This can be a great experience and a fantastic way to begin your Cyberpunk 2077 journey.

The Build: Stats and Skills

Okay, let's talk about the build itself. When I was creating my Nomad V, I wanted her to be a versatile character capable of handling a variety of situations. This meant focusing on a balance of combat, stealth, and tech skills. My primary stats were:

  • Body: This was essential for survivability and access to perks related to shotguns and melee combat. I wanted my V to be able to take a hit and dish out some serious damage up close.
  • Reflexes: This was a crucial stat for using weapons effectively. I also wanted to be able to move quickly and get into cover when needed, so Reflexes were a must-have.
  • Technical Ability: I invested heavily in Technical Ability for the crafting and modification capabilities. I wanted my V to be able to make her own weapons and armor, and this stat enabled her to do just that. Plus, being able to hack tech and take down enemies was always useful.
  • Intelligence: Intelligence was a key stat to invest in. I wanted my V to be able to hack tech and take down enemies and craft weapons and armor for the best build. So, with the Intelligence stat, it really paid off.

Key Perks and Playstyle

With these stats in mind, I focused on specific perks that complemented my desired playstyle. For Body, I grabbed perks that increased health, stamina, and melee damage. In Reflexes, I focused on weapon handling and movement speed. Technical Ability gave me access to crafting and weapon upgrades, while Intelligence allowed for quick hacking.

My combat style was pretty aggressive, especially when I had the Gorilla Arms, but I found myself switching tactics as needed. I'd use shotguns for close-quarters combat, sneak around and take enemies out with stealth takedowns, and hack into turrets and security systems to gain the upper hand. I wasn't afraid to get up close and personal with enemies. I also tried to hack from a distance, making things easier to handle. The Gorilla Arms were my favorite for melee combat. I tried to switch up my tactics on the fly and try different options and styles. I wanted to be able to play any way I wanted. This way, I had a very versatile character and a fun way to play.

Gear and Fashion: The Nomad Look

Let's be honest, looking good in Cyberpunk 2077 is part of the fun! I wanted my Nomad V to have a distinctive look that reflected her background and personality. I went for a mix of practical and stylish clothing. I found some cool-looking armor that offered decent protection while still looking rugged. Leather jackets, combat boots, and bandanas were staples in my wardrobe. I made sure to find some cool colors and different styles and looks. This way, it really set the tone for the game. I have to say, the fashion options in Cyberpunk 2077 are amazing, and I spent a lot of time customizing my V's appearance. In terms of weapons, I focused on shotguns and melee weapons. I loved the feel of a good shotgun, and I could often deal a lot of damage in close range. The Gorilla Arms also completed the look. They added to the Nomad look and the style of the character I wanted to play as. So, I focused on the gear and fashion to create the ultimate Nomad look. I also had a few different outfits that I'd swap between depending on the mission and the situation. It was a fun way to express my character's personality.

The Gorillaz Arms (When I Got Them)

Okay, so when I finally got the Gorillaz Arms, it was a total game-changer! They are one of the best things you can get in the game. The Gorilla Arms added a whole new dimension to my combat style, turning my Nomad V into a melee powerhouse. I could go toe-to-toe with almost anything and come out on top. They are a game-changer and can make the game so much more fun. It made the game feel complete. I have to say, the Gorillaz Arms are a must-have for any melee-focused build in Cyberpunk 2077. If you're going the melee route, trust me, you'll want to get your hands on them as soon as possible. I focused on making the best character I could make and having fun while doing it.

My Nomad V: Final Thoughts

So, that's my Nomad V! I had an absolute blast playing through the game as her. I really enjoyed her versatility and the freedom that the Nomad lifepath provided. This character was perfect for me to learn the game. I think it's a great starting point for any new players. It was a very immersive experience, and I felt connected to my character. From the beginning, I felt the impact of my decisions and I felt like I could make a difference. So, I had a great time playing the game and building this character.
